Lead Hill has been a member of the National Art Honor Society since 2008.

The National Art Honor Society (NAHS) s designed specifically for high school students in grades 9-12. In 1978, the National Art Education Association (NAEA) began the National Art Honor Society (NAHS) program specifically for high school students, for the purpose of inspiring and recognizing those students who have shown an outstanding ability in art. The NAHS strives to aid members in working toward the attainment of the highest standards in art areas, and to bring art education to the attention of the school and community.

National Junior Art Honor Society (NJAHS) is designed specifically for students in grades 7-9, which helps generate interest in art programs at the secondary level. Students inducted to the NJAHS must then be nominated for the NAHS when appropriate.
