A Word With the Superintendent

We have started this year with great expectations and promise that we are going to have a productive year in developing your children to meet the challenges of a very competitive world.  Please take part in your child's education and come to school sponsored events and contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

These are some new things we are implementing this school year:

1. Upgrading the literary volumes of our media center.

2. "Target Testing" our students to better prepare them to meet state testing requirements.

3. Implementing Accelerated Math program to supplement instruction for our 4th-10th grade students.

4. Install Security cameras to better protect your child and our campus.

5. Have a web-based communication system, Ed-line. This program will allow parents, students, and teachers to work together. Viewing of grades, class schedules and events your child participates will be a few items this program will offer.

These are some of the opportunities we are beginning to create a better link with the school and our community.  It is important to the success of our school and our students that we work together to create a brighter future for our kids and community.

Thought for the day : "We are now at a point where we must educate our children in what no one knew

yesterday, and prepare our schools for what no one knows yet." - Margaret Mead
